The USDA’s Census of Agriculture comes out every five years, filled with reams of information on the state of the nation’s farming sector. This week on Rural MN Radio, Jim and Marnie talk with Dan Lofthus, state statistician for the Minnesota field office of NASS, the National Agricultural Statistics Service, which conducts the Census. Dan talks about the importance of the Census, the kind of data they collect, and when it will be available.
